What I liked:
  • practice ET
  • pairing / collaborative work / group thinking
  • well prepared
  • very hands-on
  • experience a lot of techniques
  • handson
  • feedback
  • do 3 techniques, learn about others in debrief
  • practice exploratory testing
  • practical (learning by doing)
  • chocolate
  • good amount of time for feedback at end
  • interactivity
  • pragmatic
  • new ideas to explore
  • exploratory nature of the session
  • picked up some ideas for testing
  • flipchart presentation
  • chocolates :-)
  • execution of the session, interaction, handson learning practices
To make it perfect:
  • more time!
  • use something less people know
  • hand over a list of possibilities in writing to the attendees
  • a handout with summary of techniques + explorators + testing circle afterwards
  • be clearer about each step (we were a little lost at the beginning)
  • a bit more explanation on the exercises
  • a bit more explanation on how we are supposed to work
  • a little more complicated example
  • more learning from other groups with a longer wrap-up explanation of the other group's practices
